Notes from the producer:
"The Domain of The Old Telegraph has been run by our family, the Brunier family, for six generations, since 1891 to be exact. from the pope. This terroir marks our wines with a very special minerality, as if they had been filtered through the thick layer of rolled pebbles, left behind when the alpine glaciers melted, long before the formation of the Rhône Valley.
It was Henri Brunier who gave birth to this beautiful family story in 1891. A few generations later, at the very beginning of the 80s, Frédéric and Daniel took over the destiny of the family business in tandem. In 2015 and 2016, Nicolas son of Frédéric and Edouard, son of Daniel, entered the history of the Old Telegraph, fully integrating the company in key positions. Manon, daughter of Frédéric, joined them in 2018…
Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe (red and white), Télégramme (red), Piedlong (red), Clos Roquète (white)… we cultivate and vinify different expressions of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape terroir, but also Les Pallières in Gigondas (white from black and red), Le Pigeoulet (red and white) and Mégaphone (red) on the foothills of Mont Ventoux.
A domain more than a century old necessarily has a cult of maturity. Time teaches us that wine is alive. Our cellars and those of those who love our wines contain treasures that tell our story, which we taste regularly. Find the tasting comments of our old vintages."
