We are excited to explore the wines of the village of Beaune as vinified by Domaine des Croix on Tuesday January 27th @6:30pm.

David Croix established his domaine to focus on the unique 1er cru vineyards of Beaune. His instagram handle is @drink_beaune! Looking at the hillside of Beaune's vineyards from afar it looks like a single homogenous slope, but up close the distinctions of each terroir, is clear to see, and in the glass it is clear as a bell. All one has to do to see how special these vineyards are is to walk through them and notice the continual gentle slope from bottom to top, and the perfect ESE exposure of the vines to the sun. One also sees the differences in the way shadows fall near roads and walls, and the colors of the soil as one walks up or down, or north or south.

David's meticulous farming and careful hand in the cellar makes each of these sites shine with distinction. These are wines we love and are excited to share. Tasting them all together is a masterclass in understanding the village of Beaune and the concept of terroir.
