Notes from Becky Wasserman & Co.:
"From a few sections of the large lieu-dit. The upper slope has brown gravelly-clay soil (grèzes litées) and the lower slope has well-draining alluvial soils. Practicing organic farming. 15% whole cluster, ambient yeast fermentation in wooden vats. Aged 16 months in used barrels, racked and aged for an additional few months in tank. No fining, no filtration."
Wine Advocate:
"The 2023 Beaune 1er Cru Les Cents Vignes bursts with aromas of raspberries, plums, spices and petals. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and nicely concentrated, with sweet tannins and good depth at the core, this is a site that does well in years where there isn't appreciable hydric stress."
