Notes from Becky Wasserman & Co.:
Brown clay soil on Jurassic limestone (known as "Corton Limestone"). Practicing organic viticulture. 40% whole cluster, ambient yeast fermentation in wooden vats. Aged 16 months in barrels (up to 33% new), racked and aged for an additional few months in tank. No fining, no filtration.
Wine Advocate:
"Aromas of dark berries, exotic spices and licorice introduce the 2023 Corton Grand Cru La Vigne Au Saint, a full-bodied, suave and layered wine that's rich, dense and expansive."
