Notes from Becky Wasserman & Co.:
"On the northern border of Mazis-Chambertin, mostly limestone soil."
Neal Martin:
"There is half the normal crop of the 2024 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Corbeaux this year. That said, I appreciate the energy on the nose, shrugging off the travails of the growing season with attractive blackberry, raspberry, and brier scents. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly candied ripe entry. This has a lovely core of slightly confit fruit with a touch of clove infusing the blue fruit on the finish."
