Château Pichon Baron is a historic Second Growth estate in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, founded in 1694. After being divided from what is now Pichon Comtesse in 1850, Baron Raoul Pichon de Longueville built the iconic 19th-century château with its distinctive turrets. The winery was acquired by the AXA Millésimes group in 1987, which invested significantly to modernize the facilities and restore the property's reputation for crafting exceptional, age-worthy wines. Today, it is known for producing powerful Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant wines that showcase the Pauillac terroir's classic complexity and structure.
The 2020 is composed of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot.
