Winemaker Richard Fouquet represents the 5^th generation at the helm of this family run domaine that was established in 1885. Since nearly 75% of their fruit is sold to the Grandes Marques Champagne house Laurent-Perrier, their output is small but mighty. They mainly work with the best parcels from their vineyards in the Côte des Blanc Grand Cru’s of Cramant and Chouilly and also work with outstanding Pinot Meunier vines in Mardeuil near Epernay. His meticulous attention to detail and cellar work is that of a winemaker with something to prove. 

'Prohibition' is sourced from Pinot Meunier vines in Mardeuil. Lovely notes of raspberries, underripe strawberries and croissants lead to a nervy and energetic juicy palate that forms an elegant mousse. Finishes bone dry with a touch of nutty and floral notes.
