Cascina Penna-Currado is a boutique Piedmontese estate founded by the legendary winemaking duo Luca Currado Vietti and Elena Penna following their departure from the iconic Vietti winery. Located in the heart of the Langhe region, the family-driven project focuses on crafting highly artisanal, small-production wines from prized, old-vine parcels in Monforte d'Alba and surrounding areas. By combining centuries of ancestral heritage with a deeply personal, non-invasive approach to viticulture, they deliver exceptionally pure expressions of Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto.

Winemaking
The wine undergoes cool, non-invasive fermentation using native yeasts, featuring a 7-day cold soak followed by 12 days of skin contact with partial whole-cluster maceration. It then completes spontaneous malolactic fermentation and ages for approximately one year in traditional large untoasted wooden casks (botti), which gently refine its texture without overpowering it with oak flavors.
