Founded in 2005 by Judit and József Bodó, Bott Pince is a boutique, family-run winery in Hungary’s Tokaj region that has quickly risen to elite status. The couple manages approximately 7 to 9 hectares of vineyards across diverse volcanic sites near Erdőbénye, including the historic Előhegy and Csontos plots. Their philosophy emphasizes low-intervention, traditional methods, such as spontaneous fermentation in Hungarian oak and traditional horse-ploughing in select vineyards. By focusing on indigenous varieties like Furmint and Hárslevelű, they produce elegant, mineral-driven wines that are widely considered some of the most expressive "new generation" offerings in the region.
