Notes from the producer:

"Since 2004, our Chardonnay has been 100% estate grown from a small, 2 acre parcel sited on a steep, south-west slope, planted in 1999 and 2000. This wine is a 6 barrel selection of our favorite lots from the vintage, half from our early pick and half from the later pick. This combination provides a perfect balance of fresh, citrus notes and riper, tropical flavors and aromas.

The use of 1/3 new barrels brings light toasted notes and enhanced structure. Although this wine can be enjoyed now, it will gain complexity and weight with time in the cellar. Vineyard selections are between 200 and 400 feet elevation.

Clones used: Dijon 95 (42%), 76 (32%), 96 (14%), and Espiguette 352 (12%). All selections were planted 1999 and 2000. This vintage was hand harvested on September 13, 2021 (20.5 Brix & 3.4 pH, 50% blend) and September 17th (21.5 Brix & 3.5 pH, 50% blend)."
