Notes from Bacca:

"My wife Eleonora and I, having grown tired of city life, moved to the Barolo wine-producing area of the Langhe in 2003 to follow our passion for this territory and its produce. In the beginning, we rented various small parcels of land where we planted the typical vines of the area: Barbera and Nebbiolo. In 2005, on some land which is now owned by us, we were able to plant further Nebbiolo vines, from which, since 2010, we have been producing our Barolo Bussia.

In 2012, the opportunity we had been waiting for finally presented itself and we were able to buy further land, 9.5 hectares in all, of which 5 hectares was already planted with vines. We are currently renewing some of these vines, as well as planting more.

Two years later, we were finally able to bring our wines to the market. It was a long road, but we now produce 15,000 bottles in total between the different varieties: Langhe DOC Rosso, Barbera d’Alba DOC, Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC and Barolo DOCG Bussia.

The wines are produced at the Podere Ruggeri Corsini cantina, which is run by our great friends Loredana Addari and Nicola Argamante."
