Anne Amie Vineyards, founded in 1999 by Dr. Robert Pamplin, Jr., was built on the foundation of the historic Chateau Benoit Winery in Oregon's Willamette Valley. The winery is dedicated to creating expressive, terroir-driven wines from its sustainably farmed, LIVE and Salmon Safe certified estate vineyards in the Yamhill-Carlton and Chehalem Mountains AVAs. Winemaker Thomas Houseman uses a light touch to emphasize the personality of each vintage, with the Passetoutgrain specifically sourcing its Gamay (35%) and Pinot Noir (65%) from Laurelwood soil vineyards in the Chehalem Mountains. This approach honors the easy-drinking Burgundian Passetoutgrain blends.
