“Only the vineyard, the vintage, and the grape should speak” - GianLuca Colombo

GianLuca Colombo and his Segni di Langa estate is producing some of the most exciting Piemonte wines today. This Altre Vie is a side project of Colombo's and the style is much the same: terroir-driven with open, expressive fruit. This is a gorgeous Dolcetto with notes of blueberries, blackberry compote, dried thyme, iron and rosemary evolving from the glass. The palate is juicy and bright with a vibrant acidity that morphs into light and raspy tannins with an earthy, herbal and slightly floral finish. The quality greatly excels past its modest price point.
