Antoine and Clement Lebrun are the 5th generation of growers in their family to commit themselves to expressing their unique terroirs through the lens of champagne. They work with 44 distinct plots, largely in the Grand Cru villages of Chouilly and Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger.
Their "L'egoiste" cuvee is a vintage Champagne that sees 6-7 years on tirage lees in bottle prior to disgorgement - an exceptionally long elevage by by any standard. Prior to that, 100% Chardonnay grapes are fermented in 87% stainless steel and 13% oak barriques. This, coupled with an extra brut dosage of 2.5 grams per liter, highlight its mineral undertones and electric acidity.
