This newer domaine created by a young couple Jean Orsoni and Juliette Puyperoux, They met in Paris and it was in 2020 that they took the plunge to purchase 5 hectares of vines. The domaine was historically in Juliette's family and they have managed to piece it back together and just completed renovating the cellar in the heart of Savigny.

Clos des Godeaux is a 4 acre plot, vines are 55 years old.

Jasper Morris:

The vineyard is planted with a champenois type of pinot on SO4 rootstock, so there is no point in trying to make a rich and robust style of wine. Note the pale pink of the colour on the label compared to the others. No whole bunches are needed, as the wine is light and airy and fine in any case, a wine to drink cool in the spring, with very pretty largely strawberry notes behind, and pleasantly persistent.
