Established as a mixed-cultivation family farm in the early 1900s, Società Agricola Lazzari has evolved across generations to become the premier winegrowing estate in Lombardy's tiny Capriano del Colle DOC. Today, under the leadership of young winemaker Davide Lazzari, the estate is fully certified organic and powered entirely by solar energy to protect the natural ecosystem. Their ultimate mission is to drive a viticultural renaissance on the red-clay soils of the Monte Netto plateau, crafting artisanal wines that express pure territorial character.

Impressions: Here is a rare opportunity to taste a 100% pure expression of Marzemino, an ancient heritage grape that is seldom found outside of small, highly specific pockets of northern Italy. Intensely perfumed and vibrant, opening with aromas of fresh blueberry, wild red plum, and violet petals layered with subtle orange peel and dried herbs. The palate is bright and juicy over a medium frame and a touch of chalky tannins.
