Founded in 1991 by pioneering winemaker Paris Sigalas, Domaine Sigalas is an internationally acclaimed estate located on the volcanic plains of Oia in northern Santorini. The winery is a benchmark for modern Greek viticulture, specializing in the native Assyrtiko grape and utilizing ancient "kouloura" basket-trained vines to protect fruit from the island’s intense winds. Sigalas’ philosophy, described as the "dynamic evolution of tradition," combines innovative, research-driven techniques with a commitment to sustainable and organic farming across its 40-hectare estate. Since 2020, the winery has been managed by the Kir-Yianni team, continuing its mission to produce precise, mineral-rich wines that reflect Santorini’s unique volcanic terroir.
