Pascal says that he used to be quite content to describe his Vosne-Romanée village, then a blend of 9 terroirs spanning the length of the appellation, as a highly representative example of Vosne. But for a decade he had been vinifying the parcels separately and trying all sorts of blends. Finally, he decided to make three Vosnes village that have a much more coherent geographical and textural definition.
HOWEVER, in 2024 with the smaller harvest all the Village level parcels of Vosne are blended into this one cuvee.
Inside Burgundy:
"All village Vosne cuvées have been assembled in one. A lighter ruby colour. The fruit and the stems are chasing themselves round and round the glass, alternate sniffs giving more of one or the other. On the palate, they are beautifully harnessed. The light but refined fruit caresses the palate, with a notably long finish. "
