Notes from North Berkeley Imports:
The Italian word ‘stralisco’ comes from the pages of a childrens’ book, in which magical plants work special powers. In the bottle, ‘Lo Stralisco’ is indeed enchanting, full of wonder and smiles, a pure Sangiovese wine that proves the otherworldly talents of winemaker Chiara Condello. A special selection of fruit from her ‘Lucciole’ vineyard, grapes for ‘Stralisco’ are vinified full cluster, crushed by foot, and aged in small cement tank for two years. The most magical of Sangiovese from Romagna!
