Winemaker Scott Frank is dedicated to producing low-intervention wines from cool climate sites in the Willamette Valley. Often approachable in style and affordable in price, he is inspired by the wines of the Loire Valley, and seeks to highlight the Willamette Valley's working class roots as much as its potential for exceptional quality wines.

About the cuvee:

Sauvignon Blanc from the Willamette Valley is a frustratingly difficult thing to find. Our climate is very well suited to it - cool enough to avoid the overly hedonistic tropical fruit tones present in hot climate sauv blanc, while warm enough to dispel the green, vegetative flavors that can be off putting when its produced in cold regions. Bow & Arrow's 2023 example offers bright, zesty, citrus tones, a balancing touch of herbaceousness, and the hallmark zippy acidity we all want from a refreshing sauv blanc.
