When we came up with the concept for Flor Wines, we set out to bring our collective hospitality backgrounds to a retail bottle shop setting. A big part of that background involves lots of training and teaching. As sommeliers Andy and I have led countless tastings for our teams at the restaurants. Some of our most memorable tastings have been when we deep dive into a wine region, and it was always our intention to offer this experience to you at Flor. We're back for more classes!

Andy and I will host and lead an 8 class series exploring some of our favorite wine regions. These classes will take place on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM and will be spread out over the course of the year. We have upgraded our classes this year to a more complete experience, with detailed maps and lessons shown on a large screen. Lesson plans will also be sent to attendees after each class so you can reference what was discussed anytime. Here are the dates and regions we'll be covering:

April 10th - Jura

May 8th - Catalonia

June 12th - Greece

July 10th - Germany

August 14th - Portugal

September 11th - Tuscany

October 9th - Northern Rhône

November 13th - Southern Rhône

December 11th - Champagne*
