Notes from Savage Grace:
Rich & Fat late summer red fruit, vibrantly perfumed of rose petals and soft vine wood.
Lean and masculine in texture, relatively svelte in fruit, this wine captures the rusticity of old world Cabernet. Cigar box, graphite, cedar, dusty & fine in texture with pronounced medium gripped tannins. Sweet rose petal envelope a linear backbone of chalky minerality that fades in the finish where structure & tannin persist.
Sourced from Red Willow Vineyard, the oldest vineyard in the state of Washington and the most western in the Yakima Valley, was established in 1971.
