"In 1999, about a century after the foundation of Masseria Li Veli, a group of investors, led by the historic Tuscan winery Avignonesi, protagonist since the early 80s of the great valorisation of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Vin Santo, bought and refounded Masseria Li Veli with the desire to give life to a new high quality project in Puglia, a region with ancient and noble winemaking traditions and great potential in excellent productions. The project proceeds in alternating phases and remains in a state of limbo for a few years, until 2008, when the company is entirely purchased by the brothers Edoardo and Alfredo Falvo, who give life to a new ambitious project of corporate restructuring and repositioning of the brand.
