Notes from Mas d'Intras:
"The Mas d'Intras vineyard is made up of 24 plots for a total of approximately 25 hectares. The estate is located in the lower Rhone Valley, in Valvignères. The "Vallis Vinaria" was already renowned for its wines in Roman times. The soil is clay-limestone, its white earth is shallow. The vines benefit from the sunny, temperate and warm Mediterranean climate, especially since they are exposed to the south-east (in the south). The Domaine has been 100% organic since 2009.
Made from a majority of Merlot and Grenache, with a little Syrah, it is a relatively light red wine, with a beautiful fruitiness reminiscent of blackcurrant buds and small red fruits, a frank and lively mouth revealing notes of blueberry and gooseberry. Suitable for daily consumption, it is the ideal companion for simple meals.
Serve it slightly chilled (around 14°C)".
