The estate was founded in 1979 by the Sardo family in Farigliano, in the Dogliani area. The family owns 20 hectares in total, 3.5 of which in the commune of Barolo. The remaining 16.5 are wrapping around the hills of Dogliani, where Dolcetto and a small percentage of Barbera are planted.

Winemaking
The harvest took place in the second half of October. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for 21 days. Aging in 40 hl large oak vats for 30 months, then 3 months in stainless steel tanks. The wine ages 6 months in the bottle prior to its release.
