This wine has gone from really good to great since we first had it on our shelves when we opened. Time in bottle has added complexity to the aromas that open with red cassis, figs, leather, iron, maitakes, turmeric, dried sage and balsamico. The palate displays a charged acidity that easily sways its smooth. concentrated medium body towards a grainy tannic touch. The finish is earthy, smoky and spicy.
