After several years as the vineyard manager, he decided to create his own domaine, combining his share of the family vineyards with some new acquisitions in the Beaujolais.

"Grown at 420m altitude. One year in amphora, just racked to tank. 30% whole bunch vinification. Wild cherry aromatics. Slightly dry fruit behind at the moment but entirely due to youth, and amphora, with a sublime cherry and alpine strawberry finish. Striking, elegant wine."
