Diego Finocchi is the one-man show behind L’Erta di Radda. Working exclusively from high elevation vineyards in the slopes of Radda, Finocchi crafts a fresh and lively Chianti Classico true to its origins. Despite its youth, the aromatics are quite developed with cherry compote, dried cranberries, wet rocks, dried herbs, and hints of leather jumping out of the glass. Mouthwatering acidity stretches along a juicy, medium-bodied structure that culminates in mild dusty tannins that reveal an herbal, earthy, and slightly smoky finish.
