Unicorn Wine Alert!

Fans of Foillard are no doubt familiar with his cuvée 3.14, a unicorn wine in its own right. However, the 2015 made such an impression, that he decided it needed its own name. 'Athanor' is a reference to the furnace used by medieval alchemists that they believed could turn metals into gold; quite the name to live up to. Sourced from 100 year old vines in the Côte du Py, 'Athanor' is impactful and structured for an even longer cellaring potential than the '3.14'. Extremely limited.
