Guillaume Chanudet, is a fifth generation of wine growers in Fleurie. At just 30 years of age, Chanudet is crafting exciting wines full of vigor and charm. Most of the estate's cuvées are produced in the same fashion with Sélection Massale employed in the vineyards. The philosophy here is minimal intervention with semi-carbonic maceration, and fermentations taking place in cement of stainless steel. Moulin-à-Vent has long been considered the most age-worthy among the Beaujolais Cru. Despite the structured profile, this wine retains its rounded fruity profile and is drinking beautifully now.
