* A Winter Sipper Pack Selection *
Fabien Trosset and his partner Chloé farm 16 hectares, with 13 of those planted to red, and 3 to white. In 1900 an avalanche fell upon the town of Arbin, and this cuvée takes its name from that event. Made from 100% Mondeuse from 50-year-old vines. The grapes are pressed whole-cluster, and fermentation and aging take place in stainless-steel tanks for 8 to 12 months. From this wine’s intense violet color comes notes of black fruit and violet, finishing with fine tannins and a touch of gravelly earth.
