Notes from The Producer:

"In 1949, our grandparents harvested their first grapes in their Fourchaume vineyard. At the time, the frost and the lack of mechanization made the work in the vineyard particularly difficult and unprofitable. Despite these difficulties, our grandparents developed their domain, and passed on to their daughter, Lyne Marchive, 7Ha of vines.

Lyne created her own estate in Chablis in 1973. For 30 years, she developed her area of exploitation, enlarged her cellar and modernized her equipment. She has traveled the world to sell her Chablis on the best tables in Asia, Europe and the Americas. In 2018, she decides to leave the place to her children, Richard, who takes the head of the Domaine, and Amandine, in charge of the commercial and communication part. His eldest daughter, Marion, herself in the world of wine in California, is a partner in the Domaine des Malandes.

Richard created his own estate in Beaujolais and has been working Moulin à Vent vines since 2007. He has also had winemaking experience in different countries: California, South Africa and New Zealand.

Guénolé Breteaudeau, oenologist at Domaine des Malandes since 2006, continues to vinify our wines, with our common taste for precision, the finesse of aromas and respect for the terroir."
