Domaine Curtet is one of the few wineries in Savoy that practices minimal intervention. With 5 hectares of their own vineyards to the north of Lac du Bourge, after 15 years working as a biodynamic winegrower, Jacques Maillet retired to make way for the new generation with Marie and Florian Curtet. They might be young, but this couple have a perfect connection to the vineyards and are committed to the same ideas as Maillet.
This monovarietal Altesse comes from vineyards planted on two slopes overlooking the Rhone. These vines are planted in molasse soils, a marine origin sandstone that is rich in calcareous cement that gives the wine a special tension that perfectly reflects the minerality of the terroir. An aromatic, fresh and vibrant wine that is perfect for those who like something a bit more acidic.
