About The Producer: Partners David Serodes and Boris Kovac both studied oenology and started their winemaking consultant company in 1994. Since then, the two’s job has been developing relationships with different wineries all over France to assist them in bringing their products to the market in parallel with their own production. The Vallée des Aigles series are cuvees that come from the vines of their estate Domaine de l’Agly. The Domaine gets its name from the various species of eagles that inhabit the estate.

Impressions: Skin contact/orange wines can present themselves in a variety of expressions. This cuvee from Serodes & Kovac feels almost somewhere in between a Rosé and an orange wine with its lean body and refreshing palate.  Immaculate notes of tangerine, orange peel, and pomelo, and guava leap from the glass. The palate is lean with balanced acidity lending to a fabulous lift. An elegant midpalate plays with whispers of tannins before descending into a crisp finish with subtle tones of underripe persimmons. Pair with a salad with Manchego or Comte, alternatively try with a variety of raw seafood crudos.
