Cantina Giardino is quietly becoming one of Campania’s best producers. Transparency is the focus at this estate. With a meticulous focus on their vineyard management, their wines are low intervention, without filtration or any additives. Despite their minimalist approach, the end results are anything but simplistic. 'Drogone' is crafted from 75 year old vines and was the first wine ever created by the estate. The aromas are lead by blackberry, red plums, iron, dried oregano, and violets. The acidity is piercing and persists through its power full-bodied velvety texture that descends into firm tannins that leave a long herbal, spicy and smoky finish. Beautifully structured, rich and energetic.
